A toadstool that i found in the local woods again except this one is truly weird. Was fun to use oil pastels again.

How did you keep the grass blades that jut out over the toadstool from smearing with it? That's my number one problem when I use oil pastels - things smear together. I don't know that I could ever make a line as fine as the tip of that one grass blade.

I love the little touches of green (I think it's green, anyway) you added to the one part of the toadstool, by the way. They do a great job of unifying the entire thing.

I really like this. Actually, I like it enough to favorite it. It's strange to favorite a picture of a toadstool, but... *favorites anway*

Thanks yeah you just use your nail or something to remove the pastel you`ve drawn already in the shape of what you're drawing over it. That way there`s less oil there and it shouldnt smudge. The original picture was A3 ish in size (twice scanner size) though so the bigger you draw the tiny the details look when it`s reduced down.

Wow, beautifully done!

Wonderful, you did a great job with the colours and textures. I love the unusual shapes of the toadstool, it makes it seem almost abstract. Excellent work!
